What Leapstone keeps about you

Leapstone is a free app to play Chinese checkers and Halma, for everyone, also with friends. It has no ads, no payments and no tracking.

What we store

Player name: The name you choose. The other players in your games see it.
Games: The board, the moves, who took part and who won.
Messages: What you write in the chat of a game. Only the players of that game can read it.
Reports and blocks: If you report a message, we keep a copy of it with who sent it and who reported it, so we can look at it. We also keep which players you blocked, to hide their messages from you.
Sign-in codes: A key that keeps you signed in on your phone and a recovery code to get your name back on a new phone. We store both only in scrambled form, so nobody can read them.
Push subscription: Only if you turn on notifications: the address of your device at the push service. We use it to tell you when it is your turn.

Leapstone does not ask for your email address, phone number, location or contacts. It has no ads and no tracking software.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare, the company that runs the Leapstone server. Nobody else gets your data.

If you turn on notifications, the notification goes through the push service of your device: Apple, Google or Mozilla. They see the address of your device and that a message was sent. The text of the message is encrypted.

Why

Only to let you play online: to show your name to your opponents, to keep your games and chat, and to tell you when it is your turn.

How long

Until you delete your account. Finished games stay for the other players, with your name replaced by “Deleted player”.

Delete account

Leapstone then erases your player name, recovery code, key, push subscriptions, messages, reports and blocks. In games that are still running, you resign and your place shows “Deleted player”. The other players keep playing. This cannot be undone.

You cannot open the app any more? Write to the address below and we delete your data for you.

Nederlands

Zonder reclame, betalingen of volgsoftware.
